Join The Perfect Bracket Project!

Just two days remaining until the best weekend in sports: the first two rounds of March Madness! What better way to celebrate than join the millions of others filling out brackets and following along. Whether you've filled out one, many, or none at all yet, I'd like to invite you to join the Perfect Bracket Project and go after that most quixotic quest: a perfect March Madness bracket.

This bracket challenge group is a bit different than the rest. The goal isn't to win the group, but to see how close any of us can get to perfection. The group will accept up to 25 bracket submissions from each entrant, so follow our parameters and scribble out (electronically, of course) as many as you can before noon Thursday!

Winners will receive nothing, though I bet that if one of us closes in on perfection as the tournament unfolds, media accolades and potential financial perks would follow. Just imagine: you've picked every game right through the first weekend (48 for 48), something that's been recorded only once before. On Monday and Tuesday of next week, media requests come at you from all angles. Everyone in the world is dissecting your bracket, sussing out the odds of continuing the run and which games are the most likely to break the dam. The March Madness Live app wants to set up a "watch with me" channel where you get to pretend you're Payton and Eli, giving your own running commentary over the games and sharing your joy (or heartbreak) with an American public that desperately needs something that everyone can get behind together.

Why not one of us? Why not now?

My Parameters give you the lines to color within; fill out as many brackets as you'd like, join the Perfect Bracket Project group and see what happens!
